About Still Current

Still Current is an independent personal project. It checks whether public information still matches the official source, and it says plainly what each check does and does not mean.

Why it exists

When someone needs jail visiting hours, a bond window or a phone number, they often find it on a page that repeats the official one. Those pages drift. In the pilot, 12 of 33 sites had a difference or a dead link when read on Oct 22, 2026.

Still Current keeps a small set of facts tied to their official source, shows the date of the last check, and withholds a fact once its check is older than 7 days.

Not affiliated with any agency

Still Current is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any sheriff's office, court, county or other agency. Agency names appear only to say where a fact came from, and agency pages are linked so you can read them yourself. The site uses no agency seals, badges or emblems.

The Current Registry

The facts come from the Current Registry, the project's record of each fact, its source and its check history. It is not public. This site and the AI endpoint show a published snapshot of it.

The plan

The pilot covers one county: Alachua County, Florida, with 5 facts from the jail today. Marion County is a draft in progress. The plan is every public county page, in English and Spanish.
